Where Aztecs Lived (Geography)
The Aztec were the Mesoamerican people. They built an empire which lasted roughly about 200 years. Most of the people in the Aztec tribe lived in places which is present-day Central America. They moved around the places which are now known as Mexico. Even though many people lived there, their main city was Tenochtitlan. It was a city-state of the Aztec Empire. It was near a Lake Texococo in present-day Mexico. Also, it is known that Aztecs were not the native of Central America, but they migrated from land called Aztlan. Aztlan was a mystical land, which is known to be where the Aztec tribe used to live.
Today we are at last beginning to understand the intricacies of this amazing culture, which was the equal of any in Europe in moral refinement, artistic sensibility, social complexity, and political organization.
